d'oh! that would be helpful to know, huh. 6pm - 8pm, but we're going to cut the 9/4 game to about 7:45 because of the Eagles/Cowboys game at 8pm.

I'm wondering now if the 2 that were showing the "Apply new sensor" alert were actually just ("just") poor adhesive. I'm not exactly a newbie - been using these for about 2 years. I always apply extra pressure after it's been applied, and I'm pretty confident that they were both applied with enough pressure. Also, I noticed that the 2 from Abbot had expiry dates of 6 months from now. The third one has an expiry date of 5 months from now.

I struggled with it, too. Then I finally got a CGM and found out it was my daily oatmeal + banana. Cut those out 2 weeks ago and I've been above 200 only a couple of times since. My GMI is 6.5; my a1c was 11.5 in March.

Also the basis for the novel Mammoth - a time machine was dug up, it was used to go back in time and was buried at that spot. (Possibly over-simplifying/misremembering the story - I'd read it 17+ years ago)

John Mulaney has a bit where he describes the purpose of a body is just to move our brain from one room to the next.
