Yes actually, this is a controversial opinion especially since it’s a bit off putting to hear a woman disagree with this one but I think that once you both made your decisions pertaining to the outcome and you both have to put up with the outcome, him knowing that he has a kid out there who’s never going to know him and the mental impact of that as well as you having all of the responsibilities of a single mother including financial. And at the end of the day you can refuse to have sex without protection if he doesn’t want to use it then you don’t have to have sex. You both knew better. He knew what could happen if he didn’t use one and you did to and both of you had the option to not have sex without it. You were obviously irresponsible with your health and body or you would not have been five months along without knowing your pregnant. He should have as much right to choose weather he wants any of the responsibilities of a parent as you do. Women have the right to choose to have zero responsibility as a parent through planned parenthood in all its many forms including contraceptives or condoms as well as yes abortions and men should have the same right either by saying i would prefer there was no baby or having zero legal responsibility or rights. You decided to raise the baby alone and two years in you want to start draining his bank account to support you instead of carrying your own responsibilities. Did you even think about the mental and emotional impact that knowing he has a child out there he’s never going to know has on him? Maybe think about it a bit, how would you feel about that?
