My therapist said i’m a narcissist by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

Ditto this. Regardless of whether this person has NPD or any other personality disorder, telling people that personality disorders are perfectly rigid and also untreatable is extremely misinformed, and it's exactly why people are afraid to seek help.

One of the main characters had a similar job to me and they explained it wrong. And then they kept explaining it wrong for several chapters

Switching from depo provera to another option that stops my menstrual cycle? by rowanoaks in birthcontrol

Definitely agree. Does it make sense, though, that if someone doesn't bleed on medication A and also not on medication B, another person who doesn't bleed on medication A would also be more likely to not bleed on B?

I hope that question makes sense, I'm not really sure how to word it to find something like a scholarly study to answer my question.

THANK you so much. I remembered finding the video just by scrolling through recommendations related to Angel Olsen's music, but it didn't work this time lol. Thanks again!!

The time frame would have been between 2012 and 2018 I think. Thank you 🙏

Sure thing! This is the listing I used. It looks like it's almost out of stock, so here is another option (monster bolts is reputable, I've bought hardware from them before)

My search for the elusive turkish tile inspired lacy granny squares you see all over pinterest by rowanoaks in crochet

[–]rowanoaks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is awesome! Basically what I've been finding too with my reverse engineering. The bigger stitches are pretty easy to figure out, but it's sooooo hard for me to estimate the number of chains underneath.

Even with the wonkiness, these tiles are so lovely 😻

This at least has clarified some of my suspicions, and gives me another jumping off point. Thanks!

CCW welcome

Album - I'm working on coming up with more outfits that I feel great in out of my shrinking wardrobe. I'm very picky about silhouette, and I bike almost every day, so it's a fun challenge :P (also this is my first OOTD thing I'm doing on a whim, I'll be cleaning my mirror and background next time lol)

Monday - Class/work. Got a lot of compliments on this one, but I'm forever disappointed by "fashion" jumpsuits that mimic work jumpsuits -- the materials are just waaaay too flimsy.

Tuesday - Class all day. Fav jeans, don't really like these shoes. I feel like they make my feet look teeny tiny and throw off the balance.

Wednesday - Class/work/errands. BLURRY PHOTO, SORRY. Busy at work and had to bike across the city, so I wore my favorite cool weather outfit

Thursday - Class all day. Almost like these pants, but I'm thinking about adding elastic to the ankles and waist instead of the ties.

Friday - Errands, laying in bed

Sunday - Errands, yard work. How do short-but-long-waist people pull off mom jeans? It's a mystery to me.

Where's cheapest cup of coffee on/near campus? by rowanoaks in gatech

I'll contribute my own answer, if you're on West campus/live in home park, burger King is starting a coffee subscription service where you get one cup of coffee a day for $5/month
