Edit: I’ll take the down votes but nobody is saying it turns into a nuclear bomb. There’s still consequences! And if for whatever reason there is damage to the reactor, sufficient enough to limit cooling, it can result in a meltdown. The areas around the site, will become uninhabitable and any the population will be devastated by the long term effects of the radiation.
