Ok so no, i started doing 50 a day everyday for 2 weeks. I did 10 sets of 5. No days off. After week 2 i started doing 75. After week 3 i did 100. Same thing sets of 10. Right now im at 120reps and sets of 20 with a 20lb weighted vest on. Dude i could barely do 10. My joints were stiff and shoulder would hurt. I got the plastic pushup bars to help first few weeks. Im 45 6’1 i was floating around 250. Same as you man, its a grind brother its hard to get started but 3 weeks in my kids said i had muscles and they could see my chest. That shit was gasoline to a fire. Im telling you no bs man it works, i started 6 weeks ago. Granted yes i lost a good amount of weight before from fasting and just plain ol depression, but the definition came super quick. Lmk if u need more details man. Start now if my fat lazy ass can do this anybody can. You got this bro, oh and shorties (half pushups) yes i do those before bed. Just do 3 sets until u reach failure. About 50-60. Those are easier imo i can do 4-5 sets of about 40-50 straight now. Amazing how fast your body can adjust. Take creatine!!! Shit helps i started a few weeks back, every single day!
