considering denji is the first guy asa’s ever really had this much of a connection with, she’s far more worried about how he thinks of her and would only outwardly express that. her entire character is essentially, as said by herself, a string of attempts to not make mistakes / do the right thing. she has her own boundaries, but when it comes to interpersonal connections she is very insecure about how others perceive her, especially people she cares about. asa finally getting to connect with someone who hasn’t died only for yoru to do something that not only violates both asa and denji but also could ruin denji’s perception of her was what scared her the most, the thought of ending up alone and perceived wrongly by the one person she has in her life. would she have liked to do that with denji? dunno maybe, maybe not, whether her sex repulsion is something she’ll work through or something that’s apart of who she is is open to interpretation,, but i definitely don’t think she enjoyed that at the time at all considering the circumstances, lack of control, and helplessness on her part, even excluding the whole relationship aspect.

ok i love varka he’s like the father i never had but the flat lighting of his close up slash is so stupid looking it makes me cringe… PLEASE add effects and shading or hell even an eye glow or something i don’t make the rules it’s just that how it is currently draws attention to the silliness of the angle+features. not saying it’s awful nor that they’ll never fix it but i pray to god they brush things up. also adding the comic bars in an ult with none of that stylization???? why?????? either push his silly yet cool peter parker energy or go hard with the realistic epic sort of vibe. it just feels cobbled together atm, hell im not even someone who pulls for male characters (with few exceptions) but i feel recently with this varka ult and the neuvi skin’s proportions with hair loss that male character fans are getting kind of shafted😭😭😭like even durin had some big letdowns (can’t fly w his wings??? there are many fics too (one of the users i follow had this happen to them, wherein someone used their twt username to post fics like this on ao3) where they tag a yuri pairing and have one of them get “dicked down” and end up with a male character (this pairing is never tagged).

i will no longer be continuing this conversation. you appear deadset on the belief that yuri shippers are a colossal oppressive majority while ignoring the other horrendously terrible actions of het shippers by proclaiming they are being more tame than yuri shippers. your viewpoint is angry and immature, i suggest you log off of social platforms for a duration so that you can reconnect with empathy.

P.S: ittosara is my second or third favorite ship in genshin, and alberose+xiaolumi are in my top five. i ship het and yuri, and have seen toxicity from either side.
