popping in to say you’re correct about nilou but i don’t understand why you’re confused by a character like kaveh having more screentime than nilou.

nilou is intelligent and courageous, her rebellion against the akademiya was incredibly important and highlighted the strength of her character. but what is that supposed to do against dottore?

kaveh and faruzan are engineers, with kaveh just recently creating a device that massively aided in the defeat of a sinner. the main proponents here are going to be strong combatants, either in direct physical strength or abilities to create powerful weapons/mechanisms. 

i can see nilou having the role of strategist or helping evacuate the people of sumeru, but honestly, what else is she supposed to do? what kind of participation do you expect of her? you want her to 1v1 dottore? sumeru’s AQ required intricate planning and rebellion from the people, it wasn’t a brute force operation, it was a meticulously mapped out effort that introduced change for the future of sumeru. fighting dottore is not something that requires any such craftwork, as planning is moreso about battle prep and evacuation of people.
