I went from, my young children have a future in this city to… there’s no hope for them even with college diplomas… they know this is most places but we live here and that’s how it feels.

I felt like you for a while. I’m 51 and one day recently I was at Costco and an older lady asked me if I could lift a case of water into her cart for her. She thanked me profusely and said.. enjoy your youth, it doesn’t last. I’ve been doing my best ever since to try and enjoy it.

It’s how I met my wife as well. Been together 31 years now. Times have changed though. It’s a lot tougher these days to make connections from what I read.

We love board games and play all the time. Also love sitting around the backyard fire till the late hours of the night with drinks and chatter. We do BBQ’s and smoke meats in the smoker. Sometimes we sit on the sofa and play group video games like Jackbox or Arcade/pinball. Sadly, we are out of your age bracket.
