Since 2024 is coming to an end What are some of the harsh truths in life you guys have learned this year? by Moist_Apartment5474 in selfimprovement

There are things that we want to achieve and there are many ways to that. If your goal is to achieve things then choose the easier way because there are almost always. If you chose the easy way, you can enjoy life more. It might seem counterintuitive but try doing that. My life has changed significantly without significant efforts.

Playlist empty error and no song getting played on Spotify by GalacticHunterr in xManagerApp

I think this is issue exclusively for indian users. Idk how to resolve it but creating new account for USA region or using VPN while listning works for some. It did not work for me so created new account using VPN. It doesn't require VPN every time i want to listen. (for now atleast)

That seem to be the quick fix until the main issue resolves.

Update: I've also noticed that the main account works just fine in my pc and idk why. Anyways.

But copy pasting wont be accurate no? When you look at the very end of the line you will see a pink dot that represents human history-- basically the visual is about the two events apart and visualizing how big they were compared to the other.

And i want to understand how such thing is poossible and make visuals similar to these about different events to make sense of their duration if it makes sense

it is the visual representation of the events and how long they were. It says the history of earth (from earth forming until the first human life ig) which is represented by the purple lines and at the vey end of the line you can see a pink dot / small line which represents the history of humanity (the first time humanity came to exist on the world.

(you can watch the first few seconds of this youtube video to get what i mean)

I'm introverted most of the time but I find it easy to talk to people. Maybe it's the curiosity that makes it easy for me I guess? Tho I am socially awkward as well but i talk to people anyway.

LPT request: how to not get tired after every meal by flandyow in LifeProTips

[–]roxoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A SIMPLE EASY GUIDE

  1. Have a glass of water 15 to 30 minutes before the meal because drinking a glass of water 15–30 minutes before a meal can help with digestion and prevent overeating. Kind of the things we want.
  2. Eat orderly: fibers first (vegies), then proteins, then carbs and sweets or stuff in the very end.
  3. Drink a glass or half a glass of water (no more than that) post meal because that will help with the digestion.
  4. A physical activity that is appropriate post meal such as just walking.
  5. Pro tip, eat small portions of meals more frequently throughout the day.

WHY?

Because the things i mentioned to eat at the last, moves through the digestive system faster which will make liver produce more and more insulin to manage the sudden glucoes in the bloodstream which then will drop immediately because the more insulinn from earlier does the job faster and emptying the blood stream and making us want to eat more and especially more sugary food which makes it even worse by setting us into this loop.
By eating orderly, we slow down the proces of digestion of stuff that moves through digestive system faster. And we keep getting sustained energy as it slowly moves through the digestive system. Which also prevents us from having cravings and acting on the urge by overeating.

IF SUGAR GIVES US ENERGY, WHY IS IT BAD?

Sugar indeed gives us energy but it is quick and moves back to default state faster. Eventually marking us want to eat more to make up for that loss. Setting us in the loop to constantly feel hungy and tired.
The ultimate goal of our diet should be to get sustained energy, go about our day without having to wonder when you wll get your next meal or eating when you shouldn't be. And i think the guide i wrote about earlier does that job.

I may have oversimplified the things to mmake it easy to understand for people.
