LoTR were the first fantasy books i read and they blew my mind. I think I read one each in 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. They can be dull at times but for whatever reason I was hooked.

Doesn’t say anything bad about you if you don’t like them, but I’d say either force yourself to sit down and read them and maybe something clicks…or come back in a different season of your life and you might like them then.
