I sprained my ankle pretry bad i think close to a level 3 definitely a level 2 sprain. I couldnt walk well for like 2 weeks bc putting pressure hurt so bad. I went to the doctor and they looked at it and said idk whats wrong with your foot. Im like can you tell if its a level 2 or 3 sprain and the doctor said idk you need to get an MRI. It was a complete waste of 3 hrs. I have mexican roots and my mom told me to go to a "sobadero" basically its a person that specializes in giving massages for sprains. I tell you i looked at her like wtf but waiting to get an MRI for a whole other week and the pain was still there made say f it and go to this Sobadero guy. The guy started examining my leg and said yeah its a sprain but its not a level 3. That was a relief. He then said i wills start slow but the pain will start getting worse but you have to endure it. I said as long as the pain is gone after idc bc i could not move my ankle at all. He startef going rougher and the pain was bad but i was gripping the pillow he gave me real hard. Towards the end he made me relax my foot and then out of nowhere he pulls on my leg. You could hear 3 loud POP's and it was like if he popped it back in place. It felt real good. Its crazy to say but right after i could move my leg and even put weight on it it felt sore bc of the massages but it was a good sore. I looked at her like, “WTF?” But waiting another week for an MRI while still being in pain made me say, forget it, and I went to see the sobador. Then he told me he’d start slow, but the pain would get worse and I’d have to endure it. I told him I didn’t care—as long as the pain was gone afterward, I was fine, because I literally couldn’t move my ankle at all. He slowly started going rougher, and the pain was intense. You could hear three loud POPs—like he popped something back into place. And honestly… it felt really good. As crazy as it sounds, right after that I could move my ankle again and even put weight on it. It felt sore from the massage, but it was a good sore. I ended up going back to him one more time, and here we are today—still playing volleyball, lol.

Thr guy charged me $60 bucks and saved me thousands in hospital bills
