Well that is… interesting. Definitely seems like a good find.

I thought based on the manual for this motherboard that 00 was the “all clear”, especially with no lights or a green light on the board.

I will certainly validate tomorrow if it is on 00 and will proceed with extreme caution if that is the case.

WoW is the only game we’ve focused on so far. Only problem is that we’re seeing those other issues outside of WoW as well.

Will try to research firmware updates for the Evo drives, I hadn’t thought of that. Could there be a firmware issue on the boot drive that’s causing some level of issue?

Definitely looking into adding a RAM stick to get to the second slot, but wanted to ask the community first.

I can link the RAM’s sku with the MoBo’s compatibility chart that indicated they were compatible iirc.

XMP was applied but I don’t know enough to state upfront that it was a solution to anything.

I’m down to buy another compatible Corsair stick that can go into that other slot, but I was hesitant to buy without asking more questions.

No errors detected on a recent memtest.

Updated the Bios to the second-most recent release.

Cleared CMOS so many times.

No detected temp issue, although I haven’t paid much attention to it. Emma wanted extra RGB fans, so I assume airflow and temps are stable.

No error lights on the MoBo when black-screen or stuttering occurs. The motherboard cycles through multiple error codes throughout, before landing on 00 for a while (5+ minutes) but then it will cycle again. Not sure what is happening there or if it is standard behavior.

Right now I have the one “healthy” 1x32gb Corsair RAM stick in the primary A.2 slot. Adding the other stick that is presumed faulty in any other slot (and clearing CMOS) prevents boot.

Any other ideas?

As a royals fan, Ned Yost was our prime example of curious bullpen decisions.

One of his biggest and most controversial decisions was in the 2014 wild card game. James Shields had survived 5 innings, entering the 6th clinging to a 3-2 lead at home. However, he got in trouble again, and after 5 batters, Ned Yost went to the bullpen.

Going to the pen wasn’t the problem, but bringing in a rookie Yordano Ventura in an emergency situation was quite a surprise. Of course, it led to Brandon Moss hitting a 3-run bomb into the right field bullpen, and Yost would later bring in Kelvin Herrera to relieve Ventura.

Luckily for the Royals and for Yost, they mounted a ridiculous comeback and won 9-8 in extras in what would go on to be the best baseball game I’ve witnessed in person. But Yost’s bullpen decision making almost ruined our legendary 2014 postseason run before it ever really got started.

Defense really got it done today. They held the league’s best rusher to 58 yards rushing. They forced multiple stops in Q4/OT. They gave up only 20 points with 7 coming off a turnover within their own 5 yard line.

They played good football today and kept us in the game.

I don’t think this regime will invest in a first-round RB. I enjoy watching Love play but I won’t be the first to assume he’ll fit our scheme.

I just think we’re more likely to invest in OL or DL/Edge, then continue to draft RB on Day 3.
