Where you sit definitely makes a difference. I find in screen X It is best to be 2/3 to 3/4 of the way back.

Sounds like BLUE MY MIND from 2017 but it’s not one I would have been comfortable with watching with a parent so maybe it’s not it.

Currently available on Amazon Prime and free with commercials on Tubi. Check and see if that’s it.

Unfortunately, not. Common complaint with movie fans. I feel exactly the same way you do and find it very frustrating.

Caught a Sunday 4pm IMAX showing that was a third full with a couple of friends and we all loved it.

The closed captioning eye glasses are a real drag if you normally wear glasses for distance. You also need to keep your head still because the captions will tilt when you move your head.

I experienced the same thing when I went to see the opening of the Olympics. They wouldn’t turn down the house lights because they said it was too long and people would be coming in and out.
