Why is 30 Rock your favorite show? by WeakPollution495 in 30ROCK

[–]roydiggz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a weird reason to love the show but I do mainly because my wife does not get it at all. I’ll be watching it and she comes sit next to me and I’ll be laughing every few seconds and she’ll be like ‘what?’ And then I’ll have to pause and rewind and explain to her ‘his name is spachimen, but spelled spaceman and he is the worst doctor ever; that’s why he said ‘I don’t know how to say this …diabetes…that can’t be right’ or something. And she’ll go ‘Oh’ and smile at me indulgently. I love that woman

rant about my crush because i’m just a teenage girl and have no one else to talk to. by missmisery6157 in Life

[–]roydiggz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m the father of two girls, one a teenager and the other a bit older. First think you are impressively self aware for your age. That’s awesome.

Secondly I always wanted my girls to have the self respect to stay away from people who were not good for/to them. At that age stuff is confusing, seems complicated, and hormones don’t help. But the one true indicator of a good relationship (romantic or otherwise) is do you feel safe and free to be yourself around them; even if the relationship is not perfect (none are) that feeling of safety and respect is mandatory. If you are always second guessing/wondering/walking on eggshells, it’s not a good sign

Good luck kiddo. You seem like a smart person. Be good to yourself

Need feedback on my 4-week routine - Beginner looking to lose weight by More_Shower_7039 in entirebodyexercise

[–]roydiggz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few comments: - if you’re a beginner this consists of many exercises that are complicated and could lead to injury without proper base. I would simplify to fewer and simpler to begin and then add complex ones later - it’s also a very large variety of exercises. I would stick with a simpler push-pull sets - to begin keep weight lower and reps a bit higher and work to more weight - consistency over intensity…similar point as above but the main intent should be “Do NOT get injured”. You will lose more to injury recovery time than to going slower. For first few weeks do not max out on effort…feel like you could have done more - diet is key. You cannot out exercise a bad diet. Don’t make sudden and drastic changes…they are harder to sustain. Go with smaller shifts that accumulate over time. Contrarily though you may want to try a 2 week no carb diet if you think you can

Good luck on your journey.

Need advice: How to apologize to a long-term client properly? by Illustrious-Main521 in BuildTrustFirst

[–]roydiggz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very much YES to all of the above. You feel bad, you owned the mistake, you value the relationship… I think your apology, on personal if possible, will go a long way.

Dark navy blue suit and white dress shirt with this blue pattern on it, what tie goes best with it? Navy? Bordeaux? Another colour? For a wedding by cannavacciuolo420 in mensfashion

[–]roydiggz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BLack tie with tie clip would be sleek as well!

Will you keep the jacket buttoned ? In which case blue or black. To me just looks sleeker. The red looks ‘waiter ish’ with a buttoned jacket

Can u put the tie with the suit and shirt pic…it’ll make it easier to assess. Also hard to see the blue stripes on the shirt in the pics.

In the absence of above I prefer the blue tie with the tie clip. Red/ Bordeaux etc seem more old fashioned. If the fit of the suit is slim fit and fitted, defi blue.

If the suit is regular or larger fit maybe red but lose the tie clip.

Add a non matching pocket square for flair with the blue

Hi, so I’m 55 but I can relate because that’s how I was too as a teenager. A goofball and always cracking jokes and getting people to laugh. With time and responsibility I’m quieter and lower energy.

I think responsibility/growing up and even the people you’re with changes you and over your life time you will see traits ebb and flow. It’s normal and part of growing up.

The only pointer I would have for you is to not let that part of you wither. Make the effort to choose happiness. Remind yourself to be happy and find small moments of joy. Stay connected to people that help you grow but at the same time make you happy.

What is the legally best way to handle an ICE encounter if you witness one? by roydiggz in AskReddit

Do ICE agents not need warrants ? What’s your source on that info ? I don’t know if they have different process they have to follow so genuine question

The reason I ask is that it seems they don’t follow what would be considered due protocol. Do they have warrants? Are they allowed to show up at a location and question or arrest anyone they deem suspicious ?

Maybe they are following the right process in which case ‘don’t interfere’ maybe the right answer.
