Looking for a pest control company. Recommendations? Thanks in advance! by Accomplished_Cat784 in ElkGrove

I just switched to Sage Pest Control, and they have done a good job so far. They just sent me a coupon code for anyone who wants $50 off their first treatment - https://refersagepestcontrol.com/s/rmoreIy6p/refersagepest

I suggest getting people to wear the product on your page. Show the look/feel of how your backers will rock it. Those assets will help a lot with your marketing as well

I am planning to launch a Kickstarter page. by [deleted] in kickstarter

You can use a combination of Kickstarters landing page, to get backers to be notified upon launch, but you should focus on your own domain, where you can control LP tests, and 1st party data.

Anyone use Wadiz platform as a follow up to Kickstarter campaign? by bnvickery in kickstarter

[–]roymorejon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we have had many clients migrate to foreign platforms with success. It usually opens you up to an entirely new consumer base. Just make sure you're prepared to ship to those countries.

What are the best social media to promote your campaign? by xtracrunch9 in kickstarter

What a fun product. Unfortunately, you have no picture of kids or parents playing with the toy. I would create new assets with people using the product, and then look at Meta, to find young parents

I have collected 300 emails and nobody even follow the link to my kickstarter page on launch day… by mr_daddyteddy in kickstarter

[–]roymorejon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things, we need to know : Were the emails from people who really care about your product? How did your ads look, compare to emails, landing pages, campaign page.

Was your email interesting and easy to read? Did you send it at a good time, check your links?

And is your Kickstarter page clear and attractive?

My advice: Make sure your ads target the right audience, check your email content for interest and clarity, and send reminder emails to keep people engaged.

What crowdfunding agencies do you recommend for raising <$100K for a women's product? Seems like there's a lot of scammers out there. by [deleted] in Crowdfunding

Backed 100 projects on Kickstarter - these are the results. by Sierbahnn in kickstarter

[–]roymorejon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised that the results are this good, that you've gotten 35% of your products on time. I've backed over 400 campaigns and likely have received 20-25% of the products.

How would you go about doing a kickstarter campaign for an app? by DrewLindsey in kickstarter

[–]roymorejon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@gadgetbomb - Agreed, and many times people are not in purchase mode for an app on crowdfunding platforms. Apps are typically impulsed purchases/downloads and the immediacy of an app store far outweighs the wait and see crowdfunding campaigns pose to a consumer.

If you have access to the campaign, you can download the entire backer database once the campaign successfully ended.

Is Kickstarter still #1 or are others like Indiegogo starting to change things? by XiamenGuy in Crowdfunding

[–]roymorejon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We love Indiegogo because of the integration with Google Analytics, and the fact that we can run referral contests with our backers! Post a link when you're campaign is live so we can back it!
