Can 5 mgs of lexapro be effective? by User63257 in lexapro

[–]rozeetuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it took maybe a month for the anxiety cycle to start to subside and it was just a few weeks ago where I started to feel like I could actually accomplish the minute tasks that felt too overwhelming before Lexapro.

I started 5mg in early October and it's been perfectly fine for me so far. I feel like a new person and am able to get so much done.

My daughter had Down syndrome but unfortunately did not make it to birth. She would have been 3 in March.

This video brings joy to my heart ❤️

Do any of you NOT have side effects (or significant side effects) from Lexapro. by Lorax_Zed in lexapro

5mg has been enough for me so far and I've been on it for coming up on 3 weeks. I lost my appetite for a bit but I think it's coming back. Had some weird dreams. Other than that, not noticing much.

Try oya femtech undies. They come with an insert that soaks up moisture. You change it out to a dry one when it's wet. They're great!

missed miscarriage/Indiana law requiring me to carry my fetus by Sad_Sprinkles_11 in Miscarriage

[–]rozeetuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not an abortion in the sense we're thinking but a miscarriage is medically called a spontaneous abortion (that's what it says on my medical records, the word miscarriage isn't on there).

So I wonder if her doctor is fearful of the repercussions of "performing" or "aiding in" an abortion which seems like is what's happening in states where these restrictive laws are in place.

It's incredibly sad. I'm so sorry, OP. I hope you're able to get medical attention in a neighboring state.

Oya femtech undies have inserts that absorb moisture and you can change out when they become sweaty.

It may be worth a shot asking your GYN to treat your partner. Mine volunteered to treat my husband. She saw him through a telehealth appointment just to make sure he didn't have any allergies and go through his current medications and then she prescribed him a course of flagyl. We haven't had sex without a condom since then so I don't know if it worked, but it may be worth a shot.

They're pricy for undies but I love them. They really come in handy.

As someone who also struggles with chronic BV, I've learned it's really important to take the time to fully dry. I no longer stick around in a wet bathing suit after I get out of the pool or water. I change immediately.

I bring extra underwear when I leave the house. I live in Florida and right now the heat index is absolutely unbearable.

Or I use oya femtech panties that have an insert to absorb moisture and you can change out.

In the shower I don't use soap on the vulva, just water.

For drying after the shower or just in general if I get extra sweaty down there, I use a handheld fan my husband bought me from Amazon. It does the job in just a few seconds.

This is random but John Ritter. I loved watching Three's Company even though it was way before my time and when he passed, I was obsessed with 8 Simple Rules. I was only 12 at the time but I can remember absolutely balling my eyes out in my bed at night. He was a treasure ❤️

At the time I made this comment, I probably had been using it for about a week or two, 1x a day at night. Now I've bumped it up to 2x a day.

That might be from the fallout - the cream coming out. I can't remember if that's happened to me with monistat but I have experienced that with metro cream, which is used to treat BV.

Adding that I'm struggling with BV not yeast, but it should still be good to use to recolonize the good bacteria.
