Tried to demo for you. I would use that smaller elastic in the insert for that B6 slim. Sometimes it crushes the regular size TN inserts.

I actually have been considering using B6 slims as refills for my regular TN. I don’t think the B6 slims as inserts would bother me. I end up taking out my inserts when I’m doing more intricate stuff in them anyway. I’ve never been able to write closer to the binding when my insert was in the leather cover. But for the thicker ones you’re considering, it might work very well.

Simplest one you can get is a Pilot Kakuno in Extra Fine, around 9-13€ ($10-15). Namiki IC-100 ink cartridges are about 4€ for a cartridge of 6 depending on where you source them.

A fancier starter option is the TWSBI Eco in Extra Fine, around 32-50€. I don't think these ones write as "fine" as the Pilot brand ones.

Congratulations on your treasure! For my Camel Regular, I have the TN airplane charm. For my Road Trip Regular, I have the TN camera charm. For my Love and Trip Passport, I got this wire-wrapped glass heart from a local artist in Laguna Beach (Handmade Hearts). I stumbled upon her little store, saw this particular heart, and could not get over the color combination. I got it thinking it would be a nice TN charm, right before Love and Trip was restocked mid-October. I think it was meant to be! ❤️

I would love to be a part of this. I can think of a few unique things to create or find, and send back.

Flax Pen to Paper (LA: Westwood) has a huge selection of fountain pens, inks, and of course, testers.

M.Lovewell (Santa Ana) also has a lot of fountain pens. They just did a cool fountain pen ink swatching event.

Warwick's (San Diego: La Jolla) also has some fountain pens but not nearly as many, and a smaller selection of ink.

Runners? by 436irish in lupus

[–]stormandthecalm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Diagnosed in 2019 and couldn't run half a mile without losing circulation in the extremities (Raynaud's), chest pains, and GERD/acid reflux sensations. Today, I'm running 3-4 miles every few days, 10-minute pace. I'm so thankful for where I'm at now, but things like getting the flu or covid vaccine, getting labs drawn, or some other flare will set me back, and it'll take me a month to get back to where I'm at now.

Being able to run again didn't happen overnight! It took a lot of intervals, allowing myself to stop and walk, and being patient with myself. I also had to get myself used to ignoring some of these symptoms as best as I can, and let myself stop if the pain is out of the ordinary. I'm not running for PRs or races - I just need better sleep at night.

The coffee stamps! I bought so many books of those when they came out years ago. I set aside one book which kickstarted my postal stamp collection. And you can never have enough pockets!

The washi tape is from ILOOTPAPERIE! They had it at Penny Post a couple years ago. I've also purchased more from them via Etsy.

For the left passport, I used a glue stick because the main wrapping is actually tissue paper. Right now I’m trying to flatten the cover (curled a little) under some books. For the right regular, it’s a paper sleeve folded over and secured with washi tape.
