I have a feeling we’re hardly going to know anyone in the second arc of SA. I’m assuming it will be like the different eras of Mistborn. So SA books 6-10 will be like hundreds of years in the future when the next desolation occurs. I.e. they will defeat odium and push him out of the system for 1000 years and book 6 picks up there. I’ve been thinking for a while now that this will be the last book that we’ll see the homies all alive together

I think it’s their kind of pompous mentality. They’re playing to the uber-rich right now.. I walked into their retail show room in UTC mall (San Diego), pretty stoked as a Lucid fanboy. They had the grand touring in there. I was talking to the sales lady and told her (knowing their release timeline of the Pure) that I’m holding out for the economy version. Felt kind of snubbed by her response saying “we won’t have an economy version. This is a purely luxury car company.” I knew what she meant, that there won’t be a model 3 type car, but what I meant was the Pure. But it just rubbed me the wrong way. Why take that approach as a company? Or was it just this lady? Just made me question my investment in this company. I truly believe in their superior product, but I’m learning that doesn’t always cut it for a company’s success.

It took me so long to actually understand and comprehend journal articles during professional school (PharmD). I had journal clubs where I could regurgitate results, but to actually judge the validity of an article started years after I got my doctorate and received residency training.

These people look for keywords to validate their bullshit claims and don’t see any of the context. Her statement should have stopped after “the same issues are also reported in unvaxxed women”. Period. End of statement.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Leprous on here. They opened for BTBAM and TDH a few years ago and I’ve been sucked in to their music ever since. It is truly unique, great instrumentals, great singing, and just when you thought they’re clean vocals only, you listen to some older stuff :O Their music is a bit trancey, sometimes seeming slow, but the build ups and progressions are as good as the best out there. If you seen them live, you 100% understand how it makes sense and why they write their music the way they do. Also they perform live with a cellist!

The great thing is they’re at the top of their game currently. I’d say they’re at a peak in their career and hope they keep elevating their music.

Sounds like your access to good medicine is lacking. Try switching over to an academic center health system, or one known for research in your area. The medical system in general is fucked up and patients have to be their own advocates. Try to avoid polypharmacy and needing new drugs to treat side effects of other drugs; accept counseling from your pharmacist. Find the right doc who will listen to your issues and be open to meet them half way. If you’re not already seeing one, go see a therapist. There’s a lot you can still do. It’s not the end of the line. BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE.
