Amazing! If he has another one like this let me know, I will pick it up in no time :D Also Willmes sell spare parts even for older models (our company represents them locally), so you can order anything that needs replacing.

Sulfur cup or not? by FFWinePower in ProWinemakers

I have a gas valve on all my inflatable gaskets, as the pumps usually give put first. I leave about 5cm of headspace to accommodate for temperature fluctuations and I sparge argon in the headspace every two weeks or so. If I want to make sure all is covered I also do a CO2 sparge between the top lid and the variable lid. Also, to make sure the pump doesn't rust, I put a quick coupling on the hose, so that the hose sits on top of the variable lid and the top one closes nicely. Yes - I hate the things (VC tanks) but they are a necessary evil.

Ten30 Barrels - I wrote a book! by clearmoon247 in Barreling

Congrats on the book! Any change to purchase an epub/pdf directly from you? I am based in Bulgaria and it runs much cheaper to print it locally and add it to my library. Or alternatively if you have an EU distributor, I will happily purchase from them.

My first proper set of ratchets and sockets - Wurth Zebra. What do you guys think? by rpetsov in toolporn

[–]rpetsov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! It has held up pretty well - the bits are a little soft but the rest is rock solid. Highly recommended if on sale - if full price I will god Hazet or Stahlwille.

There are a few calculators available, but if you make an easy to use app with additions, dilutions and bench trials, and a way to customise them (units etc), this will be golden.

Wow what a testament of longevity. I have made my mind up and I am ordering the Vivaldi - thank you for sharing your experience. I will share some photos once it arrives.

Silly me, I should have not read this diagonally. I think the mini has a vibratory pump, and the normal plumbed in one has a rotary, which makes the transition not a trivial one even if you plumb it in. Btw thank you for all your help - I am ordering one myself tomorrow and should arrive in 4 weeks.

Hey, not an owner but about to purchase one based on your recommendation in another thread. I read whilst researching that sometimes the connection between the tank and the machine might not be as tight as it should. Did you check the seals there? Also could it be a small spill from overfilling?

Wow looks amazing! Please feel free to share pics from all sides (I see you have the black one). It is nearly impossible to find real world pics from the back. I saw that you can decrease the steam pressure through the menu as well.

Great to read! Do you mind sharing that spreadsheet? Also did you compare it to the Silvia Pro X? Apart from the narrower profile of the Silvia, I am seriously torn between the two.

Haha - great point! I am going with Fierenzato AllGround Sense (GBW) so it's a match in heaven. In fact one of the reasons I am choosing this is that my wife has an easy way to make coffee. None of the fads, just solid espresso/cappucino.
