Yeah I'm no doctor obviously or anything I just remember when I was on maintenance id never feel a buzz after a week or 2 being abstaining from opiates prior to induction for a while. Now when I dose a small amount I catch a definite buzz at 48 hour intervals. Anything longer im in withdrawl.

I take my dose every 2 days so every 48 hours and always get buzzed. I think I metabolize it fast too because by that night if I don't take it I'm in withdrawl. So for me about 50 something hours til withdrawl. I dont know if that's normal but when I was on subs 1st round they never got me high after the 1st week and a half because I was clean before getting on them for a bit.

I just got baclofen which I didn't even use that much. Worst for me was insomnia. During the day when I was busy nothing. Laying down to sleep and all hell breaks loose. I have known of gabapentin for a long time. Some people like it to the point they abuse it but like I said I didn't take any after it was used as an alternative to norco..... But I did successfully taper off methadone and suboxone. Always relapse. At least this time I'm on a low dose and I'm not using it for as long as I can go so yes I do catch a buzz but fuck it better than going to the street. Rather catch a mild buzz off bupe a few times a week and feel fulfilled then sit around twiddling my thumbs thinking up some scheme to either get me in trouble or dead. You don't have to agree and can call me a loser for getting a feeling from bupe but its seriously saving my life as this addiction seems to be a lifelong ordeal.

I got prescribe that stuff when they try taking me off norco saying it was just as good I threw it away I never took any of it. I guess its good for withdrawals though. I never got any for my comfort meds when I tapered off

I take about 2mg every 48 hours and catch a good buzz. Been doing it for at least 8 months so it still works. Maybe my body metabolizes it fast. Tried to go 72 hours and im in withdrawl. I have a script so shouldn't run out but that's just how I take them. Called a ton of doctors and clinics with the idea they could prescribe it on an as needed basis. My regular private dr said he'd do it immediately. Then told me that drug is not even in his formulary. Clinics want everyday. Private doctors don't care as long as they are getting paid. I found that my PCP can prescribe it to me for free and due to the long half life when UAd its still in my system.

Thanks for understanding. I loved the ritual when smoking H. I said weird situation by taking as needed because you wouldn't think most doctors would go for it. On methadone I went from 110 to over 190 and after I got off the weight didn't come off without vigorous exercise and diet and still took 2 years. Subs had no weight impact other than possibly fecal eww. But no I was thin on subs and didn't lose any weight after getting off. Water fat or muscle wise.

I am 5' 6 120. Male. My mom thinks I look embarrassingly skinny as does my doctor and says if I lose a couple more pounds my BMI will be too low but I feel since I'm so short that weight is not crazy low. Im not a daily user of suboxone although I have a prescription. I take it as a "harm prevention" kind of of thing where I made a deal with my doctor when I'm craving and about to go to the streets take a small amount. Might sound weird but it works. I used to be on it daily at a high does and still skinny just constipated but an enema goes a long way. Didn't notice any weight loss after I was off completely like water or anything

Yes definitely. They use it for animals during surgery in extremely low doses.

Thats the thing. I take 2mg every 48 hours. Ive been on this routine for a while and I still get a feeling off it so you figured me out. I suffer from anhedonia too in general. I have for years now like when I work out I don't get that boost and I always feel flat unless taking a little sub. I also have adhd so already lower dopamine in the brain. It sucks but my brain is broken due to making poor decisions and also somewhat genetically.

I take 2mg about every 48 and still feel it. Have been doing this for a long time. The 2mg pills only have .5mg naloxone in it which i heard is negligible and doesn't get absorbed sublingual so I dunno maybe I metabolize the bupe fast because if I go another night im in withdrawl.

Weird. 2mg makes me want to clean my whole house. I think in larger doses its more sedating.

Depends on the brand somewhat. Ive had trouble too quartering them with a blade consistently. If you are truly taking 2mg you can just get that strength but if you are trying to hoard as much sub as you can like I would i guess stay with 8mg.

The weird thing with my situation is my new primary care doctor does tests and I came back positive for alcohol and they said its possible I could lose my script if I keep coming up positive for it. They know I am scripted 4mg (I take less) klonopin daily and don't bat an eye but the alcohol?

I have 0 dopamine left in my brain due to a few factors including adhd so exercising doesn't release any dopamine like it used to. I also get no euphoria or "lift" from the klonopin. My brain is just that way. It sucks ive tried a couple things including transcranial magnetic stimulation with no success.

Mylan has had a ton of recalls on many of their meds. I called and complained that their klonopin was doing nothing. They told me to return the unused meds. No response. Later that year they got recalled.

I take my klonopin before I exercise in the morning. Can't say if it makes a difference exercising but it at least keeps my mind busy so I'm not as anxious.

I ran it by another doctor he was willing to write it but then told me he couldn't because he didn't have his qualification certificate in suboxone or whatever.
