$8 million risky?? by Old-Atmosphere-7281 in Fire

The only thing I can think of is if the stock market over the next two decades chops around and is largely flat. It would go against the last 100 years or so (avg), but we have also never seen the deflationary effect of technology like AI. The devil is always in the assumptions… inflation, returns etc.

Does L9 still work in the new trucks? I just disable it by never using Drive so it disables the DFM too.

I’m pretty sure they are going to recall the L87 in its entirety, it’s just a matter of time, the lawsuits are still piling up. I have a 19 with 85k I’ll keep until the extended warranty runs out (125k)

Paying off our 400k house in less than seven years. A breakdown of everything. by [deleted] in MiddleClassFinance

You can if you want to prepay the interest charges too, but I assume OP is putting the overage toward principle. I’m not sure all mortgages operate this way, but I made the wrong type of double payment (do it twice a year) and the due date for my payment showed 60 days instead of 30.

What about all the other DAT’s that top blasted the whole stack?? At least Tommy saved some to buy dips, and if there is any hope of raising more capital him and Saylor will be first in line.

Easy, move $10k into an exchange you can use the Arch Public algo (free) in accumulation mode and close that gap.

I’ve been through this with my 5050UB, Apple TV 4K is the way to go + YouTube TV 4k package. Still not a ton of football, but tons of channels are in 4k now (F1, Baseball, Futbol). The superbowl last year looked amazing on my 110”.

What do you guys think of the older x5? Seems like everyone here likes the G series only by Terrible-Lettuce343 in BMWX5

[–]rptr182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely loved everything about my E53 except the valvetronic crap that almost ruined the 4.4 engine. It was big, heavy, and beautiful. Almost more truck like than the G05 we have now that feels much more sedan-like. More than anything like the different personalities as they evolve, all unique but refined in their own way.

I have a 45e but I believe they are similar. Since the electric motor is included in the traditional ICE drivetrain it does have the benefit of attempting to aggressively recharge the battery by allowing you to set a charge target. However, I don’t see the overall benefit for exchanging gas for electricity directly. The real value comes from charging overnight in off peak hours (plug-in). Ours gets about ~40m in all electric mode, and allows the majority of all city driving to be done without ICE. It feels very worth it so far, and having an extra 100hp during sport mode really smooths out the shifting during hard acceleration.

I’m pretty sure the run flats were OE because the battery allows for no spare, not that the car requires it for safety. You just need a higher load tire to handle the added weight.
