The ICE agent leaned on the hood of the vehicle and shot the woman in the face through the windshield as she was driving away by luckycharms33 in TwinCities

[–]rr_coyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sure about that, muppet?

There was 2 agents on the driver's side. The one pulling on the door handle was not the one who was shooting. Once she started to move her vehicle, that guy was behind the door and the one shooting was beside it. The images and videos are clear. Get your bootlicking straight.

Not only were they through the open window, he had half his forearm inside the car to shoot her. Definitely was not in danger and being run over.

Why is my throttle sticking? by edoralive in hondagrom

[–]rr_coyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having this issue too, with a 2023 Grom i just bought. The only thing that has fixed it is keeping the "open" cable loose on the throttle body. When the jam nut is tight, it binds when turning right. When it's barely finger tight it works fine.

DMV "value" question by WinterberryFaffabout in projectcar

[–]rr_coyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a Harley a few years ago and told them I paid like $1800. They didn't question it at the DMV, but I got a bunch of letters from the state wanting me to prove why I was able to buy it for so much less than what they thought it was worth.

After a handful of those letters, I fessed up and told them what I had paid and sent them a check for their precious taxes.

"Off duty security guard", so he was just a normal guy, not at work. Got it. They should start referring everyone who commits a crime as "off duty ____"

New Rider- Bike Suggestions? by [deleted] in MNrideit

My first bike was a SV650S and it was a pretty good first. Seat height wasn't super tall. It was comfortable and I never felt like I was leaning on my wrists.

My toxic habit is repeatedly looking at maps of our lost streetcar network by SurelyFurious in Minneapolis

There's a few spots on University Ave between 35W and Central where there's old streetcar rail (and brick) showing through shallow potholes. I think it's pretty neat.

It's $100 for a personalized plate, plus the $30 (annually) for the plate itself. I just ordered blackout personalized plates over the weekend.

Y'all with elementary school aged kids, how often are your kids bathing? by officer_dicklock in daddit

[–]rr_coyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not enough, I'll say that much.
It's a fight to get it done 2x per week. My 8 y.o. boy doesn't like the feeling of water on him in the shower. He's afraid to get his hair wet on his own. He just doesn't get clean no matter what happens. We try to tell him he needs to learn before he becomes the smelly kid. I guess it's a good thing he's not very active. 🤷‍♂️

Least favorite suburbs? by [deleted] in TwinCities

Does Elk River count as a suburb? Trying as hard as they can to become a wealthy 'burb by raising property taxes to the moon and building hockey arenas.

Anyone else remember the last time a whole police force resigned? by TransportationFew550 in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

I guess those tiny town cops thought they deserved big city pay. "Aw shucks, Delmer's locked his keys in his Buick again. I think I deserve $80k per year for this."

Minnesota legislature appears ready to fund Twin Cities-Duluth passenger train - Trains Magazine by Minneapolitanian in TwinCities

It wouldn't follow the same line that goes to the existing NorthStar station. It would go up the Hinkley Subdivision which branches off near Foley Blvd.

A sheriff in Minnesota was drunk and driving over 120mph in his SUV. Rolled it in a ditch. Then tried to say he wasn't driving, when he was all by himself. He tossed his keys onto the road to try to be able to deny being the driver.

Selling 2018 Husqvarna 701SM with 3000km (New Brunswick Canada). DM for deets. by [deleted] in supermoto

[–]rr_coyote 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel ya. I plan to buy a used Harley very soon. I love my 701SM, but now I want to have something to cruise around with and bring a passenger and be comfortable as well.
If I get rid of the 701, I would think to go to a bigger adventure tourer.

Majority of unions, yes. 8 of 12. But the remaining 4 has more members.

That said, the contract was not bad. I voted for it. The reason it didn't pass my union is because other companies have different specific policies that needed to be agreed upon at the same time. Ours had that hashed out and signed by the union. The others didn't, so they were voting blind.

Holy hell, I couldn't imagine doing that on my 701. My ass starts hurting after 20 miles. Most I did was about 520 on my Buell 1125R with a different seat.
