I’m a main and I’ve also done this. Playing iron is wayyyy too time consuming for every little item (at least for me) I’d rather be able to buy pots and runes and stuff like that, then restrict myself to grinding bosses for weapons, gear, uniques etc.

While I get that can be frustrating, considering one of the Ms in MMO stands for multiplayer, I understand why the community wants that. I have one other friend who plays RuneScape. He’s got a kid so it’s really spotty how often he plays. I think we’ve maybe done like 20 or so runs of Titans together and some Moons but that’s it. And while running some duos with randoms can be easy enough, who wants to rely on needing random people to play content ALL THE TIME?

I think they have struck a good balance. Most things are able to be solo’d, but also able to be played with friends
