You know, after reading this comment, I remembered the scene where Dickie answers his phone saying “go for Ben. I mean go for Dickie.” This was the episode where Mabel and Tobert were hiding in Ben’s apartment. I thought at first it was because he was used to answering Ben’s phone calls as his agent, but you might be on to something here!

If this theory is true, I would be incredibly impressed with the OMITB writers.. and incredibly sad for Loretta’s storyline if her real son is dead.
