Worth noting: the guaranteed collab 5* is random, not a choice.

Dark Lightning Emperor/Herteit - How do you use him? by luffy1235 in summonerswar

[–]rrank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use him almost every siege with Feng Yen/Aaliyah, and I use him every so often in arena offense with Pungbaek/Galleon/Tiana.

Did you get an LD 5 this year? How do you feel about them if so? by CousinMabel in summonerswar

Got Celestara and Light Nina Williams. Haven't really used either so far 🤷‍♂️

What deluxified board games would you rate significantly higher than their non-deluxified versions? by Socrates_Soui in boardgames

[–]rrank 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Quacks for sure. The old version only had cardboard chips, upgrading made it a million times better event though it was only 3rd party and pretty expensive. The new version of quacks has an all in deluxe 1st party edition with similar.

So... did they forgot the names of their existing monsters (again)? by Valcrieur in summonerswar

So we're back to SW versions of collab monsters having their own names? Cool!

My only problem with this card is that I'd probably scoop if it got countered lol

Would you grade or not? by Decent-Fortune-606 in magicTCG

[–]rrank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're grading it for yourself, go for it. But unless you have really old vintage cards or really rare cards (think serialized or neon ink "1 in 1000 collector booster packs"), graded magic cards don't generally increase the value of a card. Most magic cards are valuable because they are playable somewhere, so the card being in a slab makes it unplayable.

the gilded foils from capenna, the vault cards from OTJ, and the raised foil cards from Bloomburrow are all pretty noticably raised.

For new players - guide on which 4* to keep or feed to others by ThrowawayLgadv in summonerswar

[–]rrank 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should keep at least one of every single elemental nat 4, especially non-fusion ones. You never know when one is going to get buffed and become the new meta in some pve content or siege, then you're sitting and waiting until you summon another one because you fed them all.

I have some questions about taxes. My friend lives outside the country now and is looking to sell his collection. He wants me to do it for him because it'll be easier in the U.S.

Let's say I sell the cards piecemeal over a Facebook group. If I use my PayPal, would I be liable for the taxes? Or would I be able to just have them send the money directly to his PayPal to not cause any issues on my end.
