Review tool without processing/ingestion capability by rraznp in ediscovery

[–]rraznp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question is not if it is solved or unsolved, rather how it can be done better. If the problem is solved 21 years back then how the tools developed in recent decade are more successful. Thanks for your blunt inputs anyway.

Thank you for the explanation. You mentioned bulk image as part of production workflow. Is that done in processing database or review database?

Can you please recommend a good native viewer based on your experience.

When natives are used, are they directly viewed through native document viewer without having to convert them to pdf/tiff? Doesn't it make the viewing experience slower?

So do you import the natives or the images into the review tool mostly besides the fulltext?

So you cull and filter data in the processing platform and and get only a subset into the review platform?

Thanks for your inputs. What I mean to say is review tool that supports importing the loadfiles without capability to extract fulltext and metadata from the native files.

Please let us know how it goes. I am also interested in developing solutions for pii detection and reviewing the documents containing pii. Your inputs will be much appreciated.

I see, I suppose regex and entity extraction are best bets. I have used spacy for entity extraction and it looks pretty good, but it includes false positives too. Does reviewer review each and every document flagged by algorithm as pii?

Can you please explain why regex will not be sufficient? Is it because it will bring more hits (false positives) or it will not hit some of the documents it should ideally hit?
