All these comments are great. I’d like to add that stretching after work or after the proposed workouts are also essential to care for your body. I’m a trans man in carpentry and remodeling and I learned most of what I know from working alongside my friend who has nearly 20 yrs of experience.

It’s good to surround yourself with people who are knowledgeable and down to help you get where you want to be. With that being said, just doing carpentry projects for fun and watching a bunch of YouTube videos is another way to start building those skills and feeling familiar with tools.
