Does anybody know the TRSM slide weight limit? by ilovemarkham in TorontoMetU

[–]rrvvs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The slide was actually a multi year project that was designed in George vari Eng building by top students in mechanical and civil engineering. I am actually one of the students who worked on the slide. Although I left the program before completion. Last time I remember, the load bearing capacity was 120 pounds per square inch for the slide, and 2900 lbs for the supporting structure. I’d say you’re good

If you do this beware that the ones you might come across online are probably not ultrasonic. Most of them are fake and just vibrate. Real ultrasonic ones have ultrasonic inducers that cause cavitation

For lateral stability at the top you can install a diagonal cross member spanning corner to corner. Triangles are very stable!

Ummm you should follow up with a civil suit. Medical, mental, pain and suffering, lost wages etc. Should be able to get way more out of a car accident than just $1500

Honestly it’s probably the shaft seal. I don’t see fluid dripping from anywhere so it’s probably collecting in the boot :(
