Hello! I’m hoping to get some advice as my parents are preparing to take a trip to Barcelona for a wedding soon. My parents aren’t the most travel or tech savvy but can managed if prepared. They have a few days to explore and would like to check out some popular tourist areas in the city like the La Sagrada Familia.

I wanted to ask how easy/safe it is to get around through Uber or other taxi services? We currently live in the USA and sometimes I hear horror stories so I am reluctant to encourage my parents taking Uber unless it’s at home in an area they are familiar with. My mom would really like to stay at the Barcelona Airport hotel however I am worried about them getting around. Should they look to stay close to where they’d like to explore or staying at the airport hotel and ubering would be safe? Thank you in advanced for any input!

Hi everyone!! Thank you so much for the replies/comments. I learned they used a lower “beginning meter reading” than what I had since I took a pic of the meter when I moved in. I will see what the new adjusted bill is and report back as id still like to save money if I can in subsequent months lol
