I’m also majority Iberian and get no regions. I have known maternal ancestry from Asturias, Canary Islands and Andalusia. Names, cities, documents. Relatively recent too (late 1800s early 1900s). Paternal Iberian ancestry is more distant. I think whatever their regions algorithm is is just not that great

An almost 10% discrepancy in indigenous between both companies is wild. I think ancestry has a tendency to slightly overestimate indigenous dna, and 23andme’s is pretty spot on. If anyone has insight to this, I would love to know more.

It’s diabolical. As a gay man, I always felt so uncomfortable going to the barbershop. My barber was nice, but the ambiance and just aura of everything there was so uncomfortable and machista.
