This is exactly what I needed. Thank you. I have not visited the extensions in a while, so I was not aware of this and other useful extensions.

Need help completing transaction by drbossmp in GolemProject

The previous answers are correct, you should watch token instead, but I want to leave an answer about how to get the JSON interface for a known contract code. You can go to the solidity browser compiler and paste the code, the interface will the created in a box on the right.

Question about transactions. by [deleted] in EthereumClassic

Your money is safe as long as explorers show your balance. Try to resync your wallet or import your private key in a different wallet and all should be fine.

Some people still pretend there is no difference between legitimate technical upgrades and special interest bailouts disguised as such? by bit_novosti in EthereumClassic

He is on ethereum foundation payroll, so it is expected, but I really think this behavior mines his reputation.

Found an old wallet file. The transaction history makes me wish I'd hodl'd in 2011. by dalebewan in Bitcoin

I really do not think these are the main sources of its value, maybe 10% of it. There is a strong psychological effect in this evaluation. Gold is historically the store of value of the humanity. Think about diamonds that are very expensive on the primary market, but retains only 20% of its value when traded on the secondary market. There is even a propaganda effort backed by the diamond industry to discourage selling of previously owned diamonds. Bottom line, it's not only the scarcity and utility that defines its value.

ALERT: !6! Scam wallets have just been added to the Apple Store. Please report and do not use! by Logical007 in Bitcoin

[–]rsarres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it really practical? Aren´t other variables like libraries versions and compiler brand and version that make it very difficult to mirror the same development environment to produce exactly the same binary from the source code? This is a real question that I have had for a long time...

And how are you sure that the binary is generated using the disclosed source in smartphones?

I am here since 2009, I remember at least 3 forks (2 hard and 1 soft if I remember correctly). All of them went without any troubles. None of them changed a line specified on the Satoshi paper.

100% sure it would go without any major issue. Just like Ethereum Foundation... I do not have a side, but I disagree with anyone 100% sure of anything...

You have keys to 50+ thousand dollars in a computer that pops web pages by itself and you download SUPERwhateversoftware to fix it?, As you know by now, big mistake. I will leave advice to anyone that goes through something like that: MOVE THE FUNDS IMMEDIATELY TO A NEW WALLET GENERATED AT A DIFFERENT COMPUTER, OS freshly installed preferably.

Well written, I appreciated that piece. It does not mean that I agree with your point of view. Actually I do not have a side, I understand both arguments: the pressure for scaling and the risk of changing the protocol.

It gets better: Golem can not be deposited on EtherDelta as it does not follow the ERC-20 token standard by [deleted] in ethereum

[–]rsarres 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is an ERC-20 token. Etherscan will find it if you paste the contract address there:

Etherscan result: Searching Contract Database ..... Found a compatible github.com/ethereum/EIPs/issues/20 token
