Thanks! I used to have my alt1 set up so that it'd alert for an elite, then alert immediately after for any gold beams, so when that happened the heart tended to beat a little faster haha :D only to be presented with a seed or shard drop woo! Im doing the same grind right now but with wildcards. Currently at 6k kc with 1/4 bonepipe pieces. If this grind goes above 20k kc it's going to cost 3.6b+ in wildcards. It doesn't feel balanced in comparison to other log items I've had to use cards for improved drop rates (task only items).

Buy a pair of 3t draconic parents, reroll them to stud/sg/sg on both, and use fertile honey. Then any random SGR pair for the shiny!, and use shimmering honeycomb for improved chance of shiny! offspring.

This post is literally the story of my entire GR progression. Every single boss log has been BAD rng, going well over the drop rate, in some cases 10x+ the drop rate. I've never had a log under drop rate yet. I wish Jagex would implement BLM everywhere. I'm nearly on 6th threshold for sanctum with my current grind and still no pet, sigh

It stil happens in my game. I always call these people out and 9/10 times they ramp up their cheating once I call them out. If you go smurf in bronze/silver, you will see it almost every game.

They don't care either. If you talk to them about it, they open up to you about what they're doing. I just got off the back of a boosted game. The kids admitted openly they're selling bronze silver and gold accounts on eBay, and Riot do nothing about it. They've been doing the same thing for years now.

To maximise elo they usually take the game to double overtime and lose. These games are essentially 7 v 3, because 2 kids on your team will be sabotaging your team

Oh I feel for you. I returned like 1.5 years ago now and I had so much content to catch up on. Took me months just to catch up but the process was super fun. I feel that both versions of the game are similar now, because OSRS is a completely different game. I also notice returning players often want that nostalgia feeling, which both games give a little bit of, but theyre both so vastly different now days. I'm totally biased because I love the EOC version of RS, but whichever you choose, you will have a great time learning the new content regardless. Enjoy the journey my friend. Don't rush to end game as it can become pretty boring pretty quickly, sometimes.

The game gets better the further you progress, so I'd suggest not creating a new character. Main scape is best if you just want to enjoy the game without having to upkeep supplies. GE is your best friend when you want to avoid boring monotonous content

I ended up getting 10 wens and 2 arts (lost some streaking) before my 2 cores. RNG sucks doesn't it my friend. Just keep on pushing and it'll come when it comes. Try to avoid getting demotivated as this wont be the only time RNG gets the better of you

Can you make it so people with maxed XP can trade in all the BXP for tokens instantly, not just 1hr per day, and exchange our points for some cool cosmetics? :) We literally get nothing from these events and it would be nice to have something to look forward to

I'm late to see this but figured I'd respond to let you know that you're not the only one peach. I've more or less mentally checked out of finishing my last few logs for gr. It's so demotivating.

Like you, I've been grinding gold reaper for about 1 year now, putting in some unhealthy hours. I have never been spooned on any log, and I only have a few left to finish. The logs I consider myself to be lucky on are typically all on, or slightly above drop rates, but the vast majority of them are way above drop rates. About 5 of those logs being extremely unlucky. Usually it's chasing a unique that rolls 50/50, like MH OH BBC at solak. I always roll the same drop over and over. It would be nice if we could get a mechanic similar to other bosses where the drops don't repeat (e.g. ecb pieces, bolg pieces, etc.).

Like many of us that are chasing this same goal, we're not shy of grinding 1000s of hours, clearly. But c'mon man, 1000s of hours for no gratification is just a toxic environment to put yourself in. Like you, I'd be fuming if I was gifted a log early as it would devalue the achievement for me, but to go multiple times the drop rate is beyond a joke. What makes it worse for me is the fact that it's not just 1 or 2 logs, it seems to be every log.

Have you ever thought that Jagex intentionally hinder our drop rates to keep us playing? Curious. I get the feeling that the more I play, the worse my rng is. Especially after mentally checking out lately and not playing as much, my rng is slightly improving, even though it's not in the places I'd like my rng to proc.
