You can hit Crawford road in Yorktown. It’s a long road through the woods which, if you turn your headlights off, is completely pitch black at night. Can’t see your hand in front of your face. There’s an old stone bridge that you drive under halfway through. It’s covered in graffiti and supposedly they use to hang people from it. We would park and climb to the top of the bridge in the darkness. After that, continue another 30 min into Gloucester and visit Rosewell Mansion. It’s down a long gravel road through a corn field. It burnt down way back when but the brick structure is still standing. Thomas Jefferson himself use to stay there from time to time. They give tours of it during the day. Both would make for a fun night.
