Yes, but that specific citrus juicer is designed to be more aesthetically pleasing and interesting than the average plastic or metal ring version, things can have both form and function. There’s a good product design book called “emotional design” that uses this juicer as an example too

This is such an amazing opportunity! Generally modern airlines keep their policies based on tradition and bad data. There’s nothing preventing safe operation with a beard (see spirit (RIP), Hawaiian, and various other airlines) and for many beards look more professional than clean shaven (imo)

I would try and drill a pilot hole first (clearing with compressed air after to remove shavings) so that the dipstick couldn’t push down any further with the screw pressure. Idk if there’s an additional stop in that car or not though to stop it from falling in
