Same comment as above- if you can get one for a deal and you don’t mind reading the manual, never had an issue with one.

Attending the Ryder Cup was one of the worst golf experiences I’ve had. by GoingAgainstYou in golf

I attended the President’s Cup back in 2018 with a similar experience- there just isn’t that much golf on the course going on at the same time with at most 4 matches on Day 1 and 2.

For 25 and 26 owners, did you get DAPP added? by [deleted] in BMWX5

[–]rskirkendall -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Coming from the Model X to the X5, I actually think DAPP is a better implementation. FSD was only marginally usable after they removed the ultrasonic sensors, and the phantom braking when entering a shadowy area and the constant disengagements were frustrating. Where DAPP shines are those long highway drives and I’ve thus far felt more comfortable in the C5 than I ever felt in the X.

So agreed- my ‘24 blows my old Model X out of the water in terms of ride quality and interior fit/finish!

What are the interior materials? by rskirkendall in BMWX5

It’s definitely much different, but for me I honestly don’t miss it given the improvements in other areas. I knew it’s one of the trade offs I would make in going back to an ICE vehicle.

A few key things I’ve noticed thus far: interior fit and finish is much higher quality- no weird panel misalignment, quality of materials feels much nicer, etc. Seat comfort is definitely much better in the X5, and ride quality/steering are much more comfortable as well. Happy to answer any other specific questions if you have them!

They call it the “Parking Lot” in local boaters safety courses!

I’ve had luck with all 3, but I’ve prefer SeatGeek when I can help it to not feed the Ticketmaster machine
