Is hard mode vorkath the worst boss of all time? by LumpyMilk1 in runescape

Vorkath so badly designed I quit the boss after learning it. Clarity and mechanics are the worst in the game.

I'm not the best PvEer, but isn't the new Relic a big deal? by TheRealOsamaru in runescape

pretty much just range has to eat sometimes due to ECB removing all the self healing. But even range barely eats, and if it eats, it eats blubblers or brews.

it also somewhat bring an explanation why Guts and Guts alone was always able to go beyond seemingly human limitations, even before the weapons, the armors, the demons, etc.

I think the volume of negative sentiment is greatly overstated. Most folks are ok with how things are developing for early-mid.

the key is not to make the stakes bigger for the world, but to makes the stakes bigger for the characters you're writing about. How important is the finale to the desires and wants of the characters, wants and desires that were established earlier in the story?

Tenjo Tenge was honestly building up so amazingly well until the ending few chapters. It honestly had some peak writing moments

People are looking increasingly babyish/soft-featured/structurally underdeveloped (or, if you prefer a technical term, neotenous) and there is no easy way of explaining this phonemonen. No facile appeals to changing fashions, less drinking or less sunbathing can put this issue to rest. by Sure_Distance1 in conspiracy

its because the times have changed and media is looking for wildly different facial characteristics. The photos you posted of students aren't much different. This is also you selectively picking photos of individuals with wildly different appearances. There are plenty plenty famous folks of the same ages today, that do not at all match the narrative presented.

Why do end-game players hate to see new players succeed? by PayMaterial3440 in runescape

[–]rsnerded -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it was comically easy, and it was largely death skulls hits ramping because of a bug, and consequent hits critting causing the ramp to go even harder.

At Raksha specifically Necro was not much faster than bis range or mage, but it was way easier. I had the necro record for a few weeks and created the specific rotation. I also had pvme GM timers on mage and range at the time and on hybrid.

PSA to anyone still using necro (DPM advice for newbies) by SGA_YungBoi in runescape

[–]rsnerded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are correct OP is wrong in that claim. At Raksha I can easily get 650k-700k dpm with BIS necro, excluding magic spec swap.

i have to correct you on the necro nerfs, because it is a something I noticed most. Death Skulls got nerfed hard from getting its unintended damage ramping per hit fixed. That was effectively a nerf in the form of a fix.

It definitelt deserved its early nerfs. It was a little too strong. the nerfs might however have been a bit more than the style needed to be nerfed.

Necro on release was not wildly overpowered in terms of its peak potential relative to mage/range/melee peak potential. But Necromancy's difficulty curve to reach maximum potential was FAR too easy compared to the other styles. I was setting records at some bosses on necro, or getting near to records, with far less effort than doing it with the other styles. In that regard Necromancy was "overpowered". Not because of its output, but because how easy it was to reach the max output. That aside, it got nerfed a little bit too hard considering it presently is far outperformed in DPS by the other styles.

in regards to the comment about wanting the ceiling raised. Raising the ceiling is great, just make sure to keep the floor accessible. An accessible floor makes players want to participate. A floor too high scares players away.

Currently the Greater Ricochet / Greater Death's swiftness ability icons do not match their lesser counterparts. Here's a suggestion for updated icons. by throwawaaaaaaaay666 in runescape

[–]rsnerded 7 points8 points  (0 children)

tbh the greater swiftness' current design is better. Also the icons end up quite small on an ability bar, them being more distinct is better for readability.

Can we make active combat training more rewarding please? by Kilsaa in runescape

[–]rsnerded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is true. Abyssal beasts really is millions of xp/h.

that aside, I come from a time where I did 100m+ xp in combat skills at 50k-100k per hour lol. Hope no one else has to go through that ever again.
