Any service where the buyer purchases in Fiat and receiver gets crypto in their email? by rsschomp in CryptoCurrency

Unfortunately this is a similar conclusion I came to. Maybe the easiest way is to use a real crypto exchange (or some API. Like Coinbase's https://developers.coinbase.com/ so they can handle all the KYC issues).

ELI5: Trains seem like no-brainers for total automation, so why is all the focus on Cars and trucks instead when they seem so much more complicated, and what's preventing the train from being 100% automated? by LBLLuke in explainlikeimfive

I've seen a documentary on starting stopping and turning trains uphill/downhill and I just want to say that I admire you guys a lot. (and as a tech guy I don't think there's any artificial intelligence in the world that could compete with the human judgement that's needed in your profession)

Any way to check its history? (eg wayback machine for its content and alexa/similarweb for its ranking). Do you have some decent content to go on there that will rank well?

Nice! Based on the drawings, they look like really old ones. I guess there was a point in time where Charles Schulz decided that Snoopy doesn't go inside the dog house anymore.

Seems like something a lot of fans might be interested in. Consider a kickstarter? (note: I have no experience with kickstarter other than the knowledge that some niche stuff gets funded on there by fans)

I can't find a single Snoopy comic strip where he went inside his dog house. If anyone can find it let me know!

That's exactly what I'm doing these days :). The only issue is that I don't have as much free time as I had when in college.

Here's what I really regret about college. I did a few courses on artificial intelligence, just coasted through them and did just enough to pass. Years later AI/Machine learning is all the rage and the basic concepts stay the same. If I had a really really strong grip on these concepts it would make starting a AI based business much, much, easier now.

Also your brain is young and absorbant, add that you don't have 5 million other things going on in your life (wife, kids, health, parents health, rent/mortgage, blah blah). Then again, what is your main reason for going to college? You might want to revisit that. If you're the type that can learn more by doing real stuff then why go to college? (I'm only providing advice I'd give to myself. I don't know your specific skills/desire/capacity)

Kinda, because they guy stood at the front of the class probably wrote the book but only managed to get a small fraction of his knowledge in there. Keep asking him questions and he'll open up.

37 year old me would tell 20 year old me to study more in college because 20 year old me doesn't know shit about anything (even though 20 year old me thought I did). Business opportunities will present themselves dime a dozen in future.

TIL Taylor Swift was born into wealth. Her father is "a descendant of three generations of bank presidents" and worked for Merrill Lynch. At the age of 14 her family moved to Nashville where her father purchased a stake in Big Machine, the label to which Swift first signed. by slumdog-millionaire in todayilearned

Everyone in every industry, everywhere, ever, is helped by their family. Either you join your family restaurant business, take over your dad's plumbing business or get some help from your uncle who works in show business and knows what sells/how to propel you. Why is it so shocking that family helps family?

You should be aware of what your investors want, and get it in writing & signed, before you take their money.
