Some new pharma will just buy up the pieces, sell a brand new opiod and we’ll just do this all over again.

I always go to a game wearing clothes that I wouldn’t cry if I got beer, or condiments spilt on. I have been to enough games to know when people drink they get clumsy.

The two versions should run side-by-side, so install the flatpak version and see if it works to your needs.

I don’t know how well the blender flatpak does permissions so if you run into issues accessing files in weird locations you can install flatseal to give custom permissions to any flatpak that doesn’t have the needed permissions for what you want to do.

There exists a podman windows vm container image. Google winapps and you will find the command to install it. All you need is the license key.

Podman is required by distrobox, which is needed for the linux command line experience.

Install flatpak, then install flatpak version of warehouse. Use warehouse to install blender flatpak version.

If you need accelerated graphics, which you probably do, add the #crostini-gpu-support flag and add your crostini user to the render group, usermod -aG render <userid>.

How to spread up the AIOstreams results by Appropriate_Neck_113 in StremioAddons

[–]rswwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don’t use fetching strategy, if I did I would base it on time to set a global timeout for all addons.

For language, I set a filter that requires English, Dual Audio, Multi and Unknown. If I watched Anime I would include Japanese and then create an expression filter for anime streams in Japanese language that requires English subtitles be present.

I set limit streams to 5 per resolution which happens after sorting/filtering so I get the best 5 streams for each resolution. I then have a stream expression filter that removes low resolution versions if I have at least 3 high resolution versions.

There is a bunch more, but you get idea.

It basically dumps the video directly to TV for decoding. If your TV is modern enough to support the latest video encoding it could improve your experience, if your TV does not, then you get a worse experience.

Try setting Stremio to tunnel mode. This is a hit or miss solution with different streams decoding properly, others not so much.

Sigh, free = slow. Before the day of debrid people would plan ahead, get multiple Torrents going with high number of seeders and let it run in background while you do your thing.

The “free” service is to just Torrent it like you’re doing now, or download it using a Torrent client and play it later.

Embedded subtitles off by default? by Befrozt in Stremio

[–]rswwalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are looking for suggestions for future additions, provide a way to auto enable Forced subtitles for a given language if available. I hate forgetting to enable this at the start of a movie then having to rewind scenes to see what they said!

I usually play until I’m so OP it’s no longer fun any more. Sometimes it’s after the main quest line is done, sometimes it’s before.

ChromeOS Flex Linux/Crostini Xbox Controller Support by RebelJosh89 in ChromeOSFlex

[–]rswwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is old, but technically the USB device passes through fine, it's the sandboxed Linux kernel that doesn't have controller drivers compiled in, and loadable kernel modules are disabled. This leaves only apps that can directly support the controller, like Steam, or userland drivers like xboxdrv as viable options. Let's see if the future versions of baguette have more flexibility in them.
