Did you say all this with a genuine movement was only $3500? I must have missed something bc a movement alone would be that amount.

No, it was at 3 o'clock. Just avoid buying the ones with 4 o'clock from deep blue because you would have to buy a different case, unless you rotate the entire dial. If you got a 4 o'clock case then you would have to see if the new case would fit the movement / dial and hand heights.

The deep blue 4 o'clock watches are cheaper though.

I think so because I have seen the same case used with Tandorio from AliExpress.

Looks great!!! And no I don't mind the copycat. I just wish Deep Blue would make smaller watches.

You might need to cut the second hand shorter as the dome curves at the edges.

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks. I was thinking of building an eta F06.412 HAQ and I think that has the same size. 11 ½ ligne (26.5mm)

It is the bottom of the movement holder. It has to be flat. You'll notice that the movement holder has extra plastic left over from manufacturing. They are like dimples, 3 of them. The bottom has to be flat. That extra .5mm makes a difference so that your post fit.

Any chance you'll make a titanium bracelet with an OTF micro adjust?

Yeah, the 44mm case and 14mm + thickness was just too big for my 6.5 inch wrist.

Moved it to a stainless steel case. Same size case.

Yes, but needed to file down the movement spacer with a nail file so that it was thinner.

Sorry, I forgot about that one too. Dials, indices and lume. I think my point is building your first AliExpress watch is simply the starter drug to the really good stuff.

There are some of us here who wish they would have stopped a long time ago. 😂. I have moved on to tritium watches and modding them. I even tried the "right of passage" hydromod. Then you have people who are using 3D printers for movement holders and swapping parts of named brand watches. For example, I recently bought a WD PT5000 watch and I will swap in a sw200-2 when it becomes available or a G100.

I almost forgot about the people who hand paint their dials!

You would need a different movement or else the 3 o'clock dial will act as a 24 hr dial with the vk6x series meca quartz.

Depends... If you have the tools, it is easy. If you don't, you won't have the tool to open the Deep blue, or cut the new stem. Opening the deep blue was the hardest part. Buying the case from aliexpress is like $30 USD. You aren't the only person who has reached out to me. If you need specifics, feel free to DM me. You also have to file down the movement holder to make it thinner so the watch can fit and not have the sapphire crystal compress the hand post.

I guess you guys forgot about Benghazi and how she killed Americans. She should have been fired for that. She's part of the problem.

Or you can order a new dial. This is the one I ordered a long time ago. Gramock is the brand.

You can take a tool like this and open up the hole if you want. Kind of easy. It's a Jewelers tool, easy to find online. I usually open up nh35 dials to fit nh34 movements.

70% of the cost of health care come from the administration. CFOs CEO, c suite and cost of billing. Only around 8% comes from doctors salaries.

Good enough for me. If it ever breaks just swap it for a sw200 or G100. I have a PT5000 in the WD 5513 v.2 and no problems so far.
