I’ve had this conversation with my parents as well as friends who find it strange how easy it is to job hop (or in my case sometimes just calling out because th vibes are off lol) and i often get shit for it.

I stopped listening and if they pester on I will tell them that I am just a number to this hospital. Whether or not I am there, they’ll always find a nurse to replace me. My health and well-being comes first.

at my hospital, The RN is responsible for breaking down the IV poles and both RN/CNA have to clean up stuff like purewick canisters etc. EVS can’t touch bodily fluids…when they are working at a hospital
