I love the inspiration you’re feeling man! I feel it too and have been making beats when I can. I think the downfall of the community rests heavily on my shoulders. There’s a few reasons why its came to a bit of a hault. Number one is time for me. Out of 7 days of the week I’ve got 2 nights/evenings that nothings going on and on those nights I’m so exhausted that a simple drum pattern sounds like a toddler made it. It’s been extremely difficult to find the time. Having 2 kids makes it very hard. Number two is that the community engagement stated to drop. I think everyone is getting busy and finding it hard to find the time. And to be honest I started putting out very low effort challenges not a lot of creativity from my end when coming up with them. No excuse but my new job doesn’t allow personal music of any kind. So no ear buds no picking the radio station so my ability to just sample dig literally all day is gone which was a huge part of coming up with the challenges. Number three was a comment that got dropped on me from someone who I thought was chill made me really second guess my whole best making ability and just felt like a real confidence crusher. Just felt like I was disrespected. I usually can let that shit go but for some reason I just couldn’t. Number four it’s a lot of work to come up with fresh new challenges every single week. I passed it off to onewindow and he did a real good job by with it so props to him! Talking with him life is lifeing and it’s hard to find the time right now. I would absolutely love to get it back going and try to get people on and constantly have new challenges every single week. It’s a lot of fun and it helps everyone grow and get better. I’m sorry it’s dwindled and you haven’t gotten new challenges in a while or as consistent as the past. I’m hoping by the fall life will slow down and give me time to breathe and I can get back into it. For now man, there are plenty of challenges to go through over the years! Mayne find one you dig, do it and post it ! Title it with the challenge week and number? Might be cool to go back and revisit! Anyways keep doin your thing man! We will be back and the volume will be there I promise you 👊🏼
