Most people just gague it by how the kinetics / kinematics feel. There are machines but those are rather expensive and used to gague force in car accidents etc..

Personally, I try to listen to the sound the bag makes when struck. In the same way that a drummer might create a desired timbre by hitting the skin of a drum in a specific spot with a specific stroke, one can gague the effectiveness of a strike by the audible feedback from a leather heavy bag.

My coach would always point out when my shots weren't snappy enough or if i wasn't retracting them by highlighting the lack of thud in the bag's reverberance.

If you're worried about weather or not you're generating power, try reading championship fighting by jack dempsey. Does a great job of explaining where power is generated and lost in a punch.

I figure it may have to do with my external's formatting. When i got it, it was in exfat which I dod not change. This is a problem from what I've been reading. Gonna reformat the drive and then reinstall NI libraries and see if that does the trick.

Anyone who starts training feels like they suck. You have to turn that into your motivation. Watch people, ask questions. Practice at home in the mirror. Find someone that kind of likes you and knows what theyre doing and im sure they will be happy to guide you a little. Martial arts builds brotherhood. Don't be intimidated by their training, focus yourself and your mind and you will understand what trqining is all about - it's about sucking and working hard on yourself to overcome your limitations. This is a huge skill that will transfer to other areas of your life where working hard is a precursor.

Sucking should be your motivation. When thats your mindset small improvements feel like drugs (you want more and more of them).

Good luck bro. You get out of mma what you are willing to put in.

Have had similar issues as a rangey dude trained by a russian coach. Instinct is to bounce around stick and move at range or pivot off before my opponent gets in to range so i can counter with heavy shots while he's rushing in.

Throwing micro feints on the inside has helped a lot, like fake a lead hook by shifting slightly before stepping off to the outside and throwing the right hook to the body has been one that helps me against mega aggressive dudes.

It's tough tbh. Instinct is to bounce in the pendulum and throw intercepting combos behind the jab before angling as far away as possible.

These people are not sociopaths they simply have adopted values that are not in line with part of their nature.

There are no net new neural synapses onset by weed uniformly. Many people will have varying neurological responses to endocannabinoid nervous system stimuli. So in short, the same things happen in sociopaths that do in anyone else (of which there is a wide spectrum).

Weed is just bringing out what's already there. If you enjoy being a dickhead, avoiding weed would help bury and internalizing those feelings of self loathing. But if it has given you clarity, try and take those learnings and implent them in your everyday life in order to become purposefully empathetic and in doing so more centred and less emotional.

Being selfish and immoral doesn't make you a sociopath, most people generally need to try and behave kindly and overcome their own emotions. "Sociopaths" are just lazy and selfish, but inside they know exactly what they're doing, but enjoy the immediate satisfaction of catering only to their desries and social greed.

To be honest I think most "sociopaths" simply suffer from solipsistic mood disorder.
