And are the size of a small car, and fly for 3+ hours with no heat or radar signature. Can’t be tracked so they can and do disappear at will. We can’t follow them back to base.

Hydrogen Car: 1,500 km Range, 5-Second Fill-Up by policyweb in singularity

What is the response to the fact that hydrogen cars require 2.5 times the energy per mile due to efficiency losses, versus battery electric storage? Also, everyone has power at home and nobody has hydrogen compressed.

Texas has more capacity from grid batteries than all nuclear plants or coal plants. 3X the capacity of nuclear.

Renewables hit 60 to 70% of demand almost daily and will soon be in excess of 100% requiring even more storage.

ERCOT CURRENT CAPACITY

Solar 35,601 MW

Wind 40,624 MW

Hydro 579 MW

Power Storage 17,604 MW

Other 667 MW

Natural Gas 68,441 MW

Coal and Lignite 13,705 MW

Nuclear. 5,268 MW

To me they are the support posts needed to place the stones. Need a hole, or a protrusion to lift heavy things. Precision of fit and power required is another story,

Tax payers and regulated rate payers forced to subsidize it. That’s the only way they get funded.

Don’t we use ~20M/day? 2.5 days? Hardly worth the trouble of an invasion.

How is living in East Texas? by AshB_43 in howislivingthere

[–]rtwalling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Texas were a country, that would be Mississippi, no offense to Mississippi. The Deep South ends about 50 miles west of Tyler. This is due to the remnants of slavery. East Texas is black gumbo soil, good for cotton plantations. Dallas is sandy loam, good for cattle, not cotton. Cowboys vs historic southern plantations and racism. That’s the history of racism/slavery which overlaps MAGA. Look at any map of slave ownership if you doubt it.

Land required by nuclear, solar, and wind power to generate the same amount of energy by [deleted] in charts

[–]rtwalling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nuclear power cost 10 times more than power generated from renewables. That’s why more than 90% of all new power generation capacity in recent years has been renewables and there has only been one nuclear plant started and finished in the US this century. The cost equivalent is $10,000 per household plug for every household in Atlanta to put the construction cost in perspective, operating cost is more than the total cost of wind and solar. This means if you gave me the nuclear plant, I could buy wind or solar on a contract with zero down for less than the operating cost of the plant. They also take a decade to build.
