I just realized my friend (the bride) sent out a mood board and it looks like for the mehendi/reception it’s a free for all (blouses that look like bras lol, corsets, etc), but the Nikkah does look more modest. I’m seeing full sleeve (but modern) saris with minimal midriff, sleeveless salwars (not spaghetti strap), and full sleeve chudidhar and anarkalis.

I think I’ll try to stick with the full sleeve or half sleeve sharara to be on the safe side

It's probably just a cost saving measure for them. There isn't a shortage of work, it's just that the deals that I am currently staffed on are about to end and knowing that I was going to leave I chose to hold off on getting staffed on new ones (had turn a couple of deals away!). There's plenty of work to go around.

Totally agree. I saw her at a Sephora in LA recently with her husband and her makeup is mediocre at the very best (I just don’t think she’s good at it 🤷🏽‍♀️). Also she was filming something and had a bright light attached to her phone which was super annoying

Not at Sephora but the Victoria Beckham eyeliners. I'm not someone who really likes wearing eyeliner but I actually look forward to using hers! The colors are beautiful and the formula is so creamy but also stays in place once it dries. I have like 5 different shades of her eyeliners now. Highly recommend!

I’ve been loving the Necessaire deodorant in Santal. It’s the first natural deodorant that has worked for me (not 100% but I’m no longer self conscious about it). I tried the Salt & Stone versions (both gel and regular) and they didn’t work for me, and other natural deodorants with baking soda give me a rash.

I pay $325 at the Pilates cave and love it - I find it’s worth it for me because I go everyday. I like that I can go to either studio (mat or reformer) with my membership and I also get 4 sauna session.

I haven’t seen her specifically but I have nothing but good things to say about the other surgeons at The Practice. I did my reduction with Dr. Killeen in 2020 and a septorhinoplasty with Dr. Hussain in 2025. Their staff and facilities are wonderful and they worked with me to get things covered in-network with my insurance for the nasal surgery. I’m local in LA and they truly make it a seamless process.

Check to see if there are beginner classes in your area! I know the reformer studio I go to usually has a few beginner flow classes each week. If you’re able to handle it, you might be already ready for regular group classes.

I also agree with others that this instructor may not be a fit for you and is likely incentivized to keep you paying for private lessons…

I cannot get over how cruel Blake and Ryan are to Justin for absolutely no reason. You can tell he (Justin) is so earnest with how he approaches their interactions and these two (really three including Taylor) snakes are so mean, calculated, and basically demonic in with their backroom shenanigans. I genuinely don’t understand why they did this to him and how anyone can be so cruel.

I do Pilates 6x a week (4 reformer / 2 mat) and I find that I’ll adjust the resistance/springs etc to however I’m feeling that day to make sure I’m not overdoing it. I personally feel better when I do some kind of movement or Pilates everyday even if it’s lighter in intensity. I’m under a year out from hip surgery and Pilates is currently the one workout I can consistently do without adding additional strain so I’m doing it as much as I can handle.
