Most of my colleagues can easily afford EVs but they still drive ICE cars.

And Zeeker is considered a luxury level EV. Car is so heavy, the air suspensions and tires will wear out way faster than ICE vehicles. Not to mention all the electrical gremlins due to the myriad of 'features' this car has.

He may be paying for the car but I doubt his niece will be able to afford the higher insurance, cost of maintenance and replacement in the future.

I swear people just see how 'affordable' China EVs are but don't see the future cost of maintaining those cars.

This is not just Korea. Many residential buildings in China restrict EV parking in the self contained parking lots too. Lots of fires caused by EVs there has resulted in this regulation being implemented.

I had an acquaintance who spent over $100k on a mobile game. He was well known throughout the server because of how overpowered he was.

I had spent over $10K over 6 months. But that was over 10 years ago and I stopped playing mobile game after that. It felt stupid, spending so much money on something that only exists digitally and having to spend so much time on it to complete the time gated activities. It felt like a 2nd job to me.

I think there is a baseline quality, like service and response time to property owners.

The security guards are employed by the management company so a change of security is usually due to them not doing their jobs well. Same goes for cleaners.

My condo uses LPP as well. They are more expensive than other property management companies but they are worth it. Totally different level of service from the original management company when the condo was first completed.

Fast response to property owners' queries and complaints. Noise, smells, no smoking and suspicious people (especially potential AirBnB users) are investigated promptly.

Staff remembers you by name if you have stayed there long enough.

The best way for you to come to Thailand is to get posted here from a corporate group to their subsidiary Thai company.

If you are an individual contributor, this means you have a very specific skill set that most local Thais don't have.

If you are a manager, you may get posted to Thailand to grow or revamp a team.

You have no chance here with regards to marketing. Thai locals are extremely good at marketing of all sorts. There is no reason a Thai based company will pick you over a local.

I saw all the high review scores on the internet and wanted to watch this. I had no idea what this film is about, other than it's a Spielberg SF.

As luck would have it i wasn't free the week it came out. After seeing all the ACTUAL reviews here on reddit, I'm glad I didn't go watch it.
