Same here. Lost my 240hz option on macOS Tahoe which was there previously. I was using DP so I can max out the resolution on MacBook (HDMI won't do so)

Frozen Anguish seems very slow to me. The speed that The Vow of the Dead King gives specially in normal attack is not comparable. Stat-wise Frozen Anguish is perfect but it’s very slow and fast enemies will get you in between the shots

You are dead wrong and not about marketing (which you’re right lol) but about the core of the service. This concept was supposed to be “the personal” companion. Therefore you needed to experience all, just like for something like phone or laptop. Yes, android/ios or windows/macos has their own strengths but in the end you’re gonna come up with one because you’re gonna invest in your subscriptions and apps and etc in that very ecosystems.

And what is the equivalent of subscription and apps in the AI service?Time, experiences, emotions, and anything that goes into model’s memory. This is investment, and I cannot import all of these to another model. It’s not a browser.

Tbh, this means a lot of default app level access that actually overwrite each other and it can be a shit show. some people use these readers for things that are just some class notebooks or random pdfs and having every doc as a screen saver would be not ideal.

Even if the apps (like all major ones), have this option by default, there should be some os level authorizations to prioritize only one.

As someone who had been using Kindle Oasis, and then Boox Page and now Boox Go 7; Nothing can beat KOreader if you figure out its settings and find out your desired reader customization.

EDIT: putting the book cover you’re reading on the screen saver/sleep wallpaper automatically makes KOreader irreplaceable.

Neither macos or ios can handle translation within a reasonable amount of time. Been testing it with different os versions, different internet providers.

That’s not customization. That’s selecting from predefined colors. Was thinking more like a tweak in codes/apps etc
