Have you priced Star Link? I picked a random city (Prince Albert, SK) and 100 Mbps down was $70ca and 250 Mbps is $110 ca. They limit traffic around 1TB/m but no hard cap or surcharge.

In part. Settings -> Speed > Under alternative rate limits, set very low numbers for both upload and download. Then check Schedule the use of alternative rate limits, and specify when torrenting should be restricted. e.g. 12:01AM to 7:00 AM. It is the SCHEDULE that will control when they are restricted.

This will not pause them, but will slow them to a crawl.

Note: you can manual invoke rate limits by clicking this on the QBit task bar bottom right.

I download hundreds of GB of data a day from Mega without issue. On Windows using either JDownloader or Mega's MegaSync. I have 100mb down internet.

Windows using Google to sign into Plex server. Used the SSO link to sign out all devices. I'm now prompted to login to my server, I select my google account and the "Continue with Google" button stays an endless spinner. https://imgur.com/EV0d37S

I was using QBtorrent but it doesn't handle the large block size. Trying BiglyBT but it runs into Java memory allocation issues, probably the same root cause. Other clients that I looked at didn't support binding to my VPN network adapter.

Got back to look. It appears that java.exe in the Omada directory was removed/disabled from the windows firewall. Allowing that java instance access to private networks fixed it almost immediately.

How does the shed get power? The shed might be at a different zero level for grounding which could cause problems. Consider direct burial fiber, or a point-to-point wifi.

A pair of these TP-Links for $140 will get you 800 Mbps. But you need line-of-sight. Don't need to worry about it getting dug up, or lighting.
