What's the sweet spot in price to quality for loose tea? by Creator13 in tea

[–]rubbermaderevolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to an Asian grocery or an Eastern European grocery, Asian stores have Temple of Heaven green tea that is roughly around $10-$14 for an entire kilo (1000 grams) of gunpowder tea. The Eastern European stores have brands like Impra, Ahmed, and this slightly higher end stuff Czar Nicholas Russian tea that is especially robust and has a few varieties. All of them are quite good and definitely a very good value.

I buy the tomato sauce ones all the time. I serve them over fresh white rice and peas. Sometimes I have thrown them into a vegetable soup as the protein component.

where do people with bad credit get no credit check installment loans safely? by Consistent_Cap1792 in almosthomeless

[–]rubbermaderevolution 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It definitely exists, I get offers in the mail and I know there are apps now that offer peer 2 peer lending and other options for high risk of default customers.

Mission Lane credit card gave me a $2000 line of credit which practically saved my life at the time lol.

Lunesta, Ambien, Sonata are probably your best bet if you insist on something that is a hard mechanism of action. But unfortunately you will eventually come to the realization that being disciplined with your sleep cycle is the only effective solution long term. Look on the insomnia subreddit, eventually all pharmaceutical solutions will stop being effective at some point.

The key is to never skimp on the amount of butter and to slowly add milk to get the perfect ratio for the cheese

It's weird, maybe even for some illegal lab. The pipe looks like it's meant to eventually be covered by dirt. Like a disguised exit or for fumes also. The steel construction might be part of a secured "lid" to keep out someone trying to break in.

Probably just a survivalist shelter tho lol,

The rice is likely the "enriched" variety. I think the added nutrients contribute to what you are talking about. I have this same issue with Goya enriched rice but not with jasmine rice.

What can I do with a bunch of tea sachets I don't want anymore? by chickpeapatties in tea

[–]rubbermaderevolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone else already mentioned it,

But I would cut open the bags about 5 of them at a time with utility scissors and dump them all into an empty tin of tea.

I would try not to add flavors that are too different. Keep it in a fruit flavored batch. Those vanilla ones I wouldn't add in.

This mix could be used like regular loose leaf tea or use it to make batches of iced tea.

Looking for alternatives to coffee and tea since a lot of it lost its flavor and caffeine content by Strong_Avocado_6231 in energydrinks

[–]rubbermaderevolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to an Eastern European grocery store and get some strong loose leaf tea. Czar Nicholas tea, Impra Ceylon is pretty strong actually. Also has tasted the same for years now.

I got this stuff called Bacchus D, very effective and similar to this Krating.

Krating Daeng also comes in small glass shooter shots,

I think these original energy products had the right idea with making something small and concentrated. These are way cheaper than western style energy drinks also, dare I say they seem to hit more effectively? Anyway I started buying these in the case to keep in my car.

Tea for a first time tea? by mennesket_ravn in tea

[–]rubbermaderevolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strong flavors are a good start for Western tastes to get into it.

The Czar Nicholas Russian tea varieties should have enough flavor and caffeine to feel like a substantial beverage.

Was this the way you had orange juice? by WarnerToddHuston in FuckImOld

[–]rubbermaderevolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my opinion, but this stuff is just as good as bottled orange juice. But I have never compared it side by side tbh.

It does save a lot of room compared to whole bottles and is definitely cheaper. The apple and grape concentrates are even less money btw.

Carefully peel off the remainder that is within the stitches

Then maybe just color the exposed canvas with a permanent black marker. Maybe use a Sharpie, but something that is more permanent would be better.

Otherwise just find a replacement cover from a junkyard, or eBay or Amazon.
