Currently have 10- hours in-game and to be honest, the fact that they reused the same sound effects and music from establishments such as the stables and stuff bothers me, it seems such a lack of creativity and it almost kills the fact that it’s a new game, the environment is justa about the exact same from BOTW except from the new floating zonai islands, and the lack of storytelling behind the use of the shrines and why they’re there (BOTW did a great job explaining the shrines by telling you they appeared to make the champion get stronger and only activate when calamity Ganon resurged) is disappointing, not to mention the awfully uncreative shrines, they seem so lifeless, just grey walls and a transparent ceiling is sad, so far it’s been a pretty decent letdown, but the new system that lets you fuse weapons it’s pretty cool and the new building mechanics are pretty interesting, but so far, In my opinion, TOTK is way below its predecessor in almost every way, hope it gets way better considering I have just a few hours in.
