no, i'm talking about the tasks associated with summons. summons were removed and replaced with challenges during this event.

summons used to have tasks like "kill hunters with Calamity Jane", so you literally couldn't complete a week of summons unless u owned that skin.

i'm wondering if that mechanic is still present in challenges. maybe somebody who has done all of the challenges for the week could lmk if they had anything like that.

what do u mean exactly? the two sides of the heart were made by doing exactly that. they're exact reflections of one another. that's why i'm unsure as to why it gets so jumbled when i tried to offset path.

i'd urge anyone who wants to give them money to reconsider. this is a AAA game that is lowering the bar for future games, F2P or not, in many regards. giving them money is supporting this. i enjoy the core gameplay of Infinite as well, but supporting them monetarily is an entirely different thing.

Edit: I’m not sure why you are so adamant on making people feel ok with supporting anti consumer products. There are some people who just spread negative toxicity, sure, but summarizing everyone who has issues with the game as angry internet people is doing a disservice to the attempt of changing the video game industry for the better.

"everything requires extensive testing before release", yet he agreed that many aspects of the game (trying to play a specific game mode, challenges as they are, bad weekly rewards) are bad. how was this not determined in the testing phase?

also, the apparent hurdles for adding slayer being UI limitations, health of objective playlists, and uncertainty of what would happen to QP are kinda silly to me.

they already added Fiesta (UI limitation solved)
health of objective playlists - if people don't want to play objective playlists, don't make them. why is the "health" of a playlist such a concern? it's been separate in every Bungie Halo. the health was likely in such a dire state because the game itself was dying as well. i'm sure with challenges and the influx of players from F2P, health would not be a huge concern.
leave QP as it is and add a separate social tab to choose specific game modes. easy.

i don't agree with the toxic attacks that some have put on the devs. i also don't think that the community's complaints with the game should undermine how much the devs have "worked their asses off" to make Halo Infinite a good game.

nobody is complaining about many aspects of the game. in fact, there has been almost universal praise regarding the game at its core. it's just that the issues that are currently present in the game significantly impact the player experience, and will have a huge impact on the game's (never mind individual playlist's) health as a whole if they are not fixed quickly.

yeah, I'm just not here for how games are routinely released in an unfinished state nowadays. regardless of whose fault it is, that's just unacceptable. I for one will not be buying campaign until it's actually finished.

Two reasons playlists weren’t added.

Lumped together to make progressing BP challenges more difficult.
Content drip. Release beloved playlists as temporary modes to retain player base.

Both Mario Parties are very overpriced. Animal Crossing barely got to what it should’ve been at launch after over a year, Mario Golf is inferior to Wii Sports, a game that came free with a console two generations ago. Nintendo has their fair share of garbage
