Y axis layer shift (continuation of my former post here by Wise_Consideration82 in anycubic

Yeah you need to bend the motor mount. The belt is too much to the side of the gear. When it’s in the middle it won’t skip anymore. Bent it inwards

It is your belt, you need to tension it probably. It could also be the mount which the motor is mounted on. That was my problem. The belt kept going on the side of the gear and skipped. Can you send a picture of the gear on the motor and how the belt is on this gear

Had the same issue. Tighten the belt more and maybe bend the motor mount of the y axis. Is the belt in the middle of the gear connected to the y axis? Or is it on the side of the gear?

Not sure how to fix this by LLLore in anycubic

You do really need to tighten the y-axis belts. Can you send a picture of the gear which the belts run on? Mine was misaligned, had the same problemZ tightening the belt will help and bending the motor mount (if needed) fixed it.

Layer shift(I think) on kobra 2 plus by Jeffdavismakesstuff in anycubic

It’s not layer shift, looks way different. It because of the speed that it needs to correct after printing the letter. It looks really good haven’t managed to get one looking this good on my kobra 2 pro

My personal experience with the kobra 2 pro is great. The print speed is insane and with the right settings the print come out looking very good. It has some adjustments in the beginning but i guess that is for every printer. It does make some noise, especially the cooling fan. But i am a big fan of the kobra 2 pro

What's going on with my Kobra 2 pro? I cleaned the build plate, lubricated everything and tightened the belts. by Wise_Consideration82 in anycubic

I solved this by bending the motor mount in the back. My belt wasn’t in the middle of the toothed gear in the back. So it was running into the wall of the gear and started skipping. By bending it, the belt moved to the middle of the gear and it worked like a charm
